[Drawkit] laptop zooming funkiness

hmm... I just disabled screen zooming and the problem is still there. I also noticed this on my old Macbook (white). 
I haven't done anything special with zooming, so I don't think it's particular to my app, but it's possible... Strange.
Does anyone have a laptop to check this on?
