Excellent.  I'll give this a spin later.

I, too, apologize for being a little quiet lately.  Other projects  
have drawn me away for a little while (stupid shiny iPhone), but I  
have made some headway on AutoCAD DXF importing.  Once I clean it up  
and generalize it so that it works on something outside of our drawing  
program, I'll post it here.
